Class information and supply list

Classroom rules and expectations:
​All school rules will apply in our classroom.  I also have other expectations in addition to the school rules that will be followed every day.
  • Come to class prepared (mentally and physically)
  • Pencil, paper, math book and any additional supplies I have requested for the day 
  • Pencil sharpened and you are working on bellwork when the bell rings
  • No negative comments towards each other, the topic, the assignment…..
  • You exhibit a level of respect for your peers and myself that you would like to receive
  • follow all teacher/substitute directions
  • All work is turned in on time.  If you are absent you have 5 days to make up work, it is your responsibility to get your missing work.
 
Failure to follow rules or expectations:

Step 1 - Warning (parent email

Step 2 - Advisory Time (1 outside advisory) (parent phone call) ​

Step 3 - Academic Detention (1 day - entire lunch period)  ​

Step 4 - Academic Detention (3 days - entire lunch period)

Step 5 - Refer to the appropriate dean (1 day Restriction in the ISS classroom

Step 6 - Refer to the appropriate dean (2 days ISS)

Step 7 and beyond - Refer to the appropriate dean (3 days ISS)​

 
 
Cell Phone policy
Students are not to have phones out for any reason between 7:50am and 3pm.  If they have the phone out it will be a step in the above list
• Any student who uses an electronic device for audio or video recording during the school day without permission will be suspended a minimum of 5 days Out of School Suspension. Students may be remanded to SWAS based on the nature of the video.
