ELAB will have a minimum of (8-10) formative grades and 3 summative grades per 9 weeks.

    Electives:

  •

Grades earned in elective classes will count towards Beta Club/Principals list/Honor Roll

Each elective class will have a minimum of 9 grades (1 per week) during each grading period.

*Band will have their own grading policy*

    Late Work Policy-

Students must have all late work turned in for the first half of the grading period (up until progress reports) one week from the progress reports being handed out. All late work from the last half of the grading period must be turned in by the end of the 8th week.  No late work will be accepted the last week of the grading period. A maximum grade of an 80 will be given on any assignment turned in late.

    Re-Take Policy-

Each student will have the opportunity to retake ONE test per grading period in each class. Corrections and citing evidence for the correct answer will be due before the retake can occur.  Students have one week from the time they receive the results of the test to request a retake. Once the student has used this opportunity, he/she will not be allowed to retake another test in that class for the remainder of that grading period.

  • Check the HW and Announcements tab for specific assignments required for a retake and its deadline.
  • I aim to update my grades at least once per week.  If for some reason you do not see something that should be there please email me.
