Practice Info

Tryout Information:

• Once tryouts are over, practice with team members will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 
•  Practice days for students wanting to try out but have no experience with a bow or the 11 steps of archery will be Sept. 12 and 13 from 3:15-5:30.  Students who have no experience will need to participate in one of the pre-tryout practice days .  The student will have to be 100% on Dragonfly to participate in pre-tryout practice or the tryout.
• Tryouts will be held Sept 12-14. 2023 starting at 3:25 and end at 5:30. (more information on tryout schedules will be discussed at the Aug 31, 2023 interest meeting).  Student must be 100% with paperwork turned in by Sept 8, 2023
• Students will report to the small cafeteria when the announcements call for "all remaining."
• If you have your own bow, parents must drop them off in the office on the day of your tryout or practice.  They cannot ride on the bus.

• The team will practice on Tuesday and Thursday each week (unless otherwise noted) from 3:15 - 5:30 in the small cafeteria
• 1st TEAM practice is Tuesday, Sept. 19
• If you have your own bow, parents must drop them off in the office on the day of practice.  Bows can not be carried on the bus.
• All archers are expected to help with set-up and take-down and clean up before and after practice.  No one leaves until all the work is complete and the coaches dismiss the archers.
