Flame Camp Information and Sign up
Flame Camp is a half day where new students are welcome to come to learn more about Blackman Middle School. There are multiple sessions with information such as elective classes, sports, clubs, and a tour of the school. Parents are welcome to join for the first session.
This year Flame Camp will be held on July 30th. There will be a camp in the morning from 8-11am, and a camp in the afternoon from 12-3pm. Check-in will begin 15 minutes before. Please enter through the main entrance of the building. Pick-up will be around the back by the cafeteria. This is where car riders are dismissed daily, so it will be good practice for you and your student for the upcoming school year. We will have maps available when you check your student in.
Parents are NOT required to attend with their students. If you wish for your student to be brought by another parent, that is also okay. If you live close to the school, your student can also walk if you would like them to.
The student has to be registered for BMS prior to attending camp. Registering to attend BMS for the 2025-2026 school year does not also mean registering for camp. You can register your student for BMS by clicking this link. This must be done even if the student is coming from one of our feeder schools. To sign your student up for Flame Camp, please click the session you would like them to attend below and register your student. Spots are limited and you will be notified if the session is full. Sign-ups will close on Wednesday, July 23rd. The PTO will be selling BMS spirit wear during this event.
