About Mrs. Smith

Welcome to Mrs. Smith's 7th grade science class! I am so excited to be back in the classroom. I have known since I was in high school that I wanted to teach. I love when I can teach students something new about science.

This is my 10th year at Blackman Middle School and my 16th year teaching. I have a Bachelor of science degree from MTSU and a Master of Science degree from Oklahoma State University in Animal Science. I am married and my husband and I have two daughters that are 17 and 14. When we are not in the classroom we love spending time with each other at the pool, beach or just playing games whether electronic games or board games.
