Introduction: Celebrating Student Academic Achievement & Essential Character

Elevate to Excellence, also know as E2E, celebrates the hardwork and essential behavior choices that go into being an incredible student here at Blackman Middle School. We also want students to recognize the significance of a GPA (Grade Point Average) and how that affects them now and into their future. 
 
  • There are 3 different levels that a student can achieve based on their Grade Point Average from the prior quarter. Students are rewarded in the current Quarter based on that past achieved level.
    • Inferno: 4.0 GPA with Essential Character 
    • Wildfire: 3.0-3.9 GPA with Essential Character (No D's or F's)
    • Ignite: 0.5 or higher GPA Growth from one quarter to the next (Q1-Q2, Q2-Q3, and/or Q3-Q4) + Essential Character (No F's)
 
  • What defines Essential Character?
    • Students cannot have a Discipline Step 5 or higher in the previous quarter.
    • Students cannot have any ISS or OSS
