About Me

 

My name is Sara Wright. This is my 2nd year at Blackman Middle and in the state of Tennessee. My family relocated here back in April of 2020 due to a transfer with my husband's job. I was born and raised in Dallas, TX. Although I am sad to have left all my friends and family, I am very excited about exploring a new area and am already blown away by how pretty the state is and all the trees. 

 

This is my 11th year in education and I have taught math at every grade level from 4th-Algebra I. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction for K-8 Mathematics Education. 

 

My husband, Josh, and I have two little boys; both red heads like their mom. :) Max is 5 and Oliver (Oli) is 3 and they too are very excited about being here in TN.
