About Me
I grew up in Dickson, TN which is roughly an hour from Murfreesboro. I have a B.S in Biology from MTSU with a concentration in organismal ecology. I'm currently in graduate school through Montana State working towards a Masters in Science Education. I attended Trevecca and obtained a certification in English as a Second Language. This is my fourth year at Blackman Middle and I'm so excited to be apart of this wonderful community.
Outside of school I like to hike and travel with my dog, Magnolia. I love to visit national parks and explore the United States from an outdoors perspective. During my time in college, I traveled to Costa Rica and it was the experience of a lifetime.
I'm excited to start this journey as an ESL teacher at Blackman Middle School. My goal is to help guide students through the landscape of language acquisition to help them achieve success through the school year.
