Shannon Martin- 7th Grade Math
Welcome to 7th grade! I am Ms. Martin, Math, 7D. I am very excited about this upcoming school year! As your child embarks on this exciting journey of learning, I want to ensure that you are informed and engaged in their mathematical education. My main focus is to build upon the fundamental concepts learned in previous grades and introduce new topics that will prepare students for more complex mathematical concepts in the future.
Throughout the year, your child will explore various areas of mathematics. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment that encourages active participation to foster a deeper understanding of mathematical principles.

About Me: I am a native of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. I graduated high school from Riverdale and received my education degree from MTSU. For the past 19 years, I taught at Cason Lane Academy. I decided to make a change for this school year and Blackman Middle School was the perfect fit for me.
I have three children, Katelyn (27), Brennan (18), and Bryce (17). I also have 1 precious granddaughter, Nora.
