Thank you for visiting my webpage! My name is Rachel Jernigan, and I am one of the two instructional coaches here at Blackman Middle School. I graduated with my bachelor's degree from MTSU in 2014, and I am licensed to teach all content areas in 4th through 8th grade. I have my master's degree in curriculum and instruction and my doctorate in learning organizations and strategic change. Prior to becoming an instructional coach, I spent five years in the middle school math classroom. I have a deep passion for education and helping those around me grow to reach their full potential. Here at Blackman Middle School I heavily support math and science instruction while assisting teachers with instructional technology.
