Clubs & Activities

Clubs at BMS

Each club and organization offered at BMS is designed to meet the needs and interests of our students.
All student participating in BMS clubs must abide by stated behaviorial and academic standards.
Participation is voluntary and students may opt out at any time.

 

Choir

Mission Statement
To involve students in activities that promote understanding, appreciation, and life-long participation in the world of music Select Choir is an auditioned choir made up of select members from the BMS CHOIR that may meet both during the school day and after school. There is no additional money due to participate in this ensemble.

Drama

Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Blackman Middle School Drama Club to provide an opportunity for all interested Blackman Middle School students to participate in theater-related activities throughout the school year, while providing and promoting a healthy learning environment where students can explore and develop skills within the theatrical arts.

Beta

Mission Statement
National Beta Club exists to  promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students. Campus Life

Campus Life Middle School ministry combines healthy relationships with creative programs to help young people make good choices, establish a solid foundation for life, and positively impact their schools. Like every ministry of Youth For Christ, Campus Life seeks to engage these young people wherever they are found as lifelong followers of Jesus Christ. Campus Life encourages a balanced life – mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially.

 

The program is headed by Campus Life Junior High coordinator Christy Lambright. You may contact her at  christy@mtcampuslife.com. The Campus Life club sponsor is Mr. England.

 

Campus Life meets on Wednesdays in the auditorium at 7:30 AM. Campus Life attendance is completely voluntary and students may opt out at anytime.
